Setting the Scene

For many businesses, the biggest challenge in social media is content. How do you create a consistent feed of high quality content for your social media account?

We all know that ‘content is king’ in social media: your social media success lives or dies on the strength of your content. Nail it and you’ll skyrocket into the stratosphere, miss the target and you’ll be stuck in the doldrums.

Nowhere is this more keenly felt than in Instagram. Every post must be visual content. No text-heavy screeds or quick-grab shares of entertaining articles. Instagrammers are visually-astute, equally rewarding a beautifully planned feed or scorning a lazy and inconsistent profile.

But producing engaging visual content every week can be a real stretch for many businesses, leading to fits and spurts of activity and jarring turns in content style and quality.

That’s the problem we set out to solve. We want to support businesses with a consistent stream of high quality content for their social media.

Leah’s Big Idea

I’ve gotta fess up: we didn’t come up with this great idea ourselves!

In December last year our favourite Bendigo photographer, Leah Ladson came to us with the brilliant idea to join forces to create a service that combines photography and social media management in a single package. Her idea was to offer regular photoshoots and social media posting so that you have a consistent flow of great content and know it will actually be used.

We instantly loved the idea. But it didn’t come to fruition right away.

Over Christmas and the new year period we went back-and-forth about the particulars, ironing out how exactly it would work. It doesn’t sound like much, but when you’re building a whole new service from the ground up, on top of all your existing work, it takes some time. We wanted to make sure that the service was fully formed on launch.

So here we are, six months later, ready to present our new baby to the world!

Social Media Photography and Management: How it Works

We have developed a simple process for ensuring you get the most out of our all-in-one service.

Strategy Meeting

It all starts with an all-in strategy meeting between you, the Creative Revolution team and Leah Ladson. We talk about your existing social media presence, your goals and aspirations, what has worked and what hasn’t, and what you want to do in the future. We will establish your content tone and style and brainstorm ideas for your photography.

Photography Sessions

The next step is capturing your social media photos. Each month you will get an hour-long photography session with our amazing photographer, Leah Ladson. This session can be in one location or spread across multiple locations. Your photography session will generate at least 60 shots and if you do happen to need even more content, we offer a premium plan that includes two photoshoots per month.

Social Media Posting

After we receive the photos from Leah, our social media managers develop a post plan for the coming month across Instagram and Facebook. Suggested posts will be sent to you for feedback and approval before being posted. If you have any of your own content or suggestions, they can be weaved into the content plan as well. Our package starts at 5 Instagram / 3 Facebook posts per week with premium plans offering even more posts.

Monthly Report

Each month you will receive a social media performance report detailing how your posts are performing and how that is contributing to growing your overall follower base.

Awesome! But What Does It Cost?

Affordability was one of our major concerns in developing this service. It’s the number one reason that many do not engage professionals to manage their social media presence. We’re combining a professional photography service with a professional social media management service, but you might be surprised how affordable it is.

Packages From $700 +GST per Month

The basic package is $700 +GST per month, with a six-month commitment. This gets you a social media content strategy, monthly photoshoot, and post planning and scheduling for 5 Instagram posts per week and 3 Facebook posts per week. If you need a greater volume of content, there are two other packages that offer more photoshoots and social media posts.
